Mountain Walking
Central Scotland has some of the most beautiful mountains in the UK. They are also some of the most accessible wilderness areas. With in one hours drive from Glasgow you can find yourself at the bottom of the impressive Cobbler (Ben Arthur) or its munro neighbours Ben Narnain and Ben Ime. Alternatively we can guide you to the summit of the stunning Ben Lomond, Scotland's most southerly Munro. If the high mountains are not your thing then we can offers a series of low level walks taking in interesting plants and animals as well as local history. The area has many stories linked to the West Highland Way and Rob Roy.
Our Instructors can show you navigation hints and tips to keep you on the right track. They can also give you advice on things like dealing with the mountain environment, equipment selection, campsite location and route choice. They are also skilled in activities like bush craft and survival skills.
We can offer the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) Bronze and Silver awards. Please contact us for training and assessment information.
